What is Soul? Soul is one's unique, creative and healing essence. A deep wellspring, it bubbles and rises up as the life force. It is the mysterious, authentic Self that beckons us through dreams, curious allurements, somatic sensation, creativity, Nature and mysterious images. Like an underground river, it is the source of our longing and also our passion, often hidden even from ourselves. It is our sensual being, our wildness and unique talent. The essence of Soul manifests as the deepest, most creative expression of a life, human or otherwise.

Each of us has a gift to offer and a purpose to our existence, a unique song to sing. Discovering this song is the journey of Soul. It is a dance with Eros, the energy of desire and connection. A life of Soul is one of authentic living, steeped in unveiling the mysteries of one's heart and the sensual energies of body and breath. Through embodiment, an individual deepens the connection between BodyMind, Spirit, and Soul, and awakens his personal power through somatic sensation, movement, breath, voice, creative expression and authentic action.

The roots of Soul sink deep into the body and natural world, stirring archetypal energies to wake in the psyche. Descending into the bodymind through deeper levels of embodiment reveals the places where we have locked away our shame, anger, aggression, grief... and power. As we open and free those places, we experience undreamed of levels of healing, wholeness, and a more integrated Self.
